Early Childhood

We have found, and research has shown, that most very young children (under 7) struggle through private lessons. 40287 680667021054 38310995 37874530 2040337 n 200x300 Early ChildhoodThe half hour intense focus each week and the at home practice time is very difficult and frustrating for many youngsters. We have also found, however, that these same children flourish in an age appropriate music class. We strongly recommend young children attend our Musikgarten classes before signing up for private lessons. In our classes children jump, bounce, rock, play, sing, listen and have a blast. In the meantime, they are learning critical foundational skills, such as steady beat, pitch matching, audiation (internalizing the music), fine motor skills, listening skills, concentration and much, much more. Furthermore, because our classes are in a group setting, they are more affordable than private lessons, and there is no need invest in an instrument (yet!).
